Festive start construction on Sint Liduinastraat Schiedam

In March, we introduced the project ‘The Wanted West’, a living project located where the former Zadkine School was once located. The areas of the homes range from 110 to 140 m².

16 May saw the symbolic commencement of the demolition and construction activities. It attracted many interested buyers, neighbours and other stakeholders. The purchasers were given a warm welcome and alderman Marcel Houtkamp was given the honour of demolishing the first window frame of the building with a demolition crane. This signalled the start of the demolition activities. The party continued with a Western-style BBQ.

The project is expected to be completed in the beginning of 2019.
