Students will soon have homes on Campus Woudestein

Rotterdam

After a little over six months of construction activities, the student living facilities on Campus Woudestein were recently completed. All 280 homes, which were developed by Bond Development, are now occupied and rented out.

Bond Development developed the student housing building and sold the construction project. Towards the end of 2016, Cordeel Nederland started construction. What made this project exceptional was the extremely short construction period. After just eight months, the keys were handed over to current owner XIOR Student Housing.

The student housing complex has been created primarily for international students and is located on Campus Woudestein in the Rotterdam neighbourhood of Kralingen. The apartments, which each have their own kitchen and bathroom, measure an average of 22 m2. These new student homes tie in closely with the city’s ambition to become an internationally-oriented university city. The municipality considers the housing complex ‘an asset for Rotterdam’.
